Description

OPETH DELIVERANCE VINYL LP from my personal collection. I purchased this new from a record store in 2008. I love this album. I swear my wife & I watched Lamentations a hundred times. The title track is one of the best musical compositions ever written IMHO. Nevertheless, it is time for someone else to love this record as I am moving into an RV and sadly just don't have room for my records.
Condition:
I played this entire record yesterday loud through headphones and it really does sound superb. Today's stiff neck and tinnitus are a small price to pay. Only one thing 'popped' out at me and that is the first few minutes of side 3 is noisier than the rest of the album. It still sounded great. but I think due to the quiet of the beginning of "A Fair Judgement", it was more distracting. Other quiet parts of this album didn't have much noise including between songs, lead ins and outs.
Including this playing, this record has only been played a half-dozen times total on a properly calibrated SL-1200 Mk2. I always listened to the CD unless I was really in the mood for vinyl.
That said:

  • Vinyl is EX+. No visible defects and other than what I said above, it is clean, crisp and clear.
  • Hype sticker is NM. I carefully cut it from the cellophane and kept it with the record.
  • Cover is EX+. Corners have very minor dings. Very minor shelf wear back cover.
  • Inner sleeves are NM.
Shipping:
  • I will pack this record securely, vinyl in separate anti-static sleeves outside of cover, paying close attention to protecting the corners.
  • Ships USPS Ground Advantage by default. Recommended for insurance. If you wish a different service, please request an updated invoice before paying.

I am not a store or professional grader. I was a collector from my childhood but now my collecting days are behind me. My collection is stored vertically in a smoke-free, climate controlled environment.
Therefore, all records will generally be in very nice condition. I will do my best to note any major defects. But please check pictures and ask questions or for more pictures if you have a specific concern about any item.
