NIGHT BLOOMS
Label: Panchromatic, 2009
new & unplayed / SOLD OUT
WHITE WILLOW offshot, Mattias Olsson of Anglagard participates; very melodic, dreamy and psychy; limited (400 copies) press on black vinyl, gatefold cover; unplayed PANCROMATIC 2009 Norway
The Opium Cartel is a project led by White Willow's chief songwriter and guitarist, Jacob Holm-Lupo. Away from his progressive mothership, Jacob takes a more intimate and personal approach with The Opium Cartel, where gentle, mysterious folk rock and sensuous pop intermingle in both acoustic and electronic settings. The debut album will feature a cast of several guest vocalists and musical friends. The vinyl version does contain 2 tracks not on the cd (whereas 2 cd tracks have been removed). Comes in 350 gram gatefold matt sleeve and 180 gr. vinyl
