(I held it under the light for about 10 seconds and held it under my desk, then turned the flash off and snapped a photograph. ISN'T IT FREAKIN' COOL?)

VERY OUT OF PRINT.
Black art on white skull vinyl.
One-sided vinyl with silk screened art on the flip side.
What that means is this:
One side of the record doesn't play
(the SKULL side)
It is merely a piece of skull-shaped vinyl with black paint. AND, there is a glow-in-the-dark thingamabob to the vinyl, so when you hold it up to the light and then switch the lights off, you'll see a beautiful glowing greenish skull!
Aesthetically pleasing, very cool.
The other side of the record has both band's songs on it.
To listen to Orchid, you put the needle down in the center of the record
(where the record would normally end) and it plays from the inside out.
To listen to Jerome's Dream you put the needle in the regular place,
and the songs play from the outside of the record in toward the center, like normal rekkids, kid.
There is a slight brown discoloration on the matrix or run-out groove. See the photos. It doesn't affect the play. There's just a slight brown near the center.

Jeromes Dream was a Connecticut screamo band, active from 1997 to 2001. The band had a unique vocal style - singer Jeff Smith opted not to use a microphone while performing live, instead screaming unamplified at the top of his lungs. The band was known for playing very short sets, usually no longer than 10 minutes. According to Smith, they thought 10 minutes was all they needed to get their point across.
The band's second full length album, Presents, featured a drastic change in vocal style, abandoning the raw screams of their earlier work in favor of a talk-singing style filtered through an effects processor. This stylistic shift was rumored to a product of vocal cord damage sustained by their singer from the repeated strain of performing. However, Smith cites an anecdote in which while recording with Orchid his voice cut off and he passed out in the recording booth. Afterward, they changed their style overall.
Orchid were an early screamo band from Amherst, Massachusetts. Considered by many to be one of the pioneers of the
screamo sound, Orchid combined a postmodern aesthetic with hardcore punk, releasing several now-hard-to-find EPs
and splits as well as three full-length records. Orchid's influences are assumed to be Canadian hardcore band Union
of Uranus and One Eyed God Prophecy, but band members more often cite the German bands Systral and Carol.
The band was formed while Jayson Green, Will Killingsworth, and Brad Wallace were studying at Hampshire College, and Jeff Salane was attending U. Mass in Amherst, Massachusetts in early 1998. The majority of their discography was released on vinyl records which they often shared with other bands. There were three full-length (by their standards) records released: Chaos is Me, Dance Tonight, Revolution Tomorrow! and the final Self-Titled release (often called "Gatefold" after its packaging), all on Ebullition Records. Towards the end of their lifespan, the final line-up of Orchid had formed various side-projects, with vocalist Green, bassist Geoff Garlock and drummer Salane forming the band Panthers. Guitarist Will Killingsworth played in the band Bucket Full of Teeth and worked on Dead Air Studios, his recording project based in Amherst, MA, where the band recorded their final album. They had previously recorded at Godcity with Converge guitarist Kurt Ballou. Orchid played last shows in a number of cities during the summer of 2002, the last of which was at The Advocate in Harvard Square in Cambridge, MA, where they played with Sinaloa and the band Wolves, who had former Orchid bassist Brad Wallace playing guitar for them.
Killingsworth continues to run his own label, Clean Plate Records, whilst his band Bucket Full of Teeth released several records, including a full-length LP on Level Plane Records before he formed the band Ampere, who are still active. Green, Garlock, and Salane continue to play in the band Panthers, who have released two full-length albums and an EP. After Wolves finished, Brad joined Transistor Transistor to play guitar, who also recently released an album on Level-Plane.
Jayson Green later formed VBS, with members of Black Army Jacket and the Fiery Furnaces
After Jeromes Dream, Jeff Smith went on to play experimental drone music with Joseph Grimm as the Wind-Up Bird.
Drummer Erik Ratensperger now plays drums in the band Best Inventions and runs NYC streetwear label Mishka.
John Ratzenberger (born April 6, 1947) is an American actor. He is best known for his role as Cliff Clavin in the sitcom Cheers.

We are collectors and we want you to get your collectibles in the best condition possible, therefore, unlike many sellers on the great eBay
WE NEVER REMOVE VINYL FROM ITS SLEEVE AND LEAN IT AGAINST ANYTHING
nor do we
REMOVE THE VINYL RECORDS FROM THEIR SLEEVES & LAY THEM DOWN ON A SURFACE TO DISPLAY THEM.
We're rather amazed when we take the care that we do with the vinyl we sell, and then see another seller make more money selling the exact same item
in worse shape, and their picture shows the record out of its cover and out of its sleeve lying on a surface! I believe the "problem" is that we try to describe every item
in detail so that you'll know exactly what you're getting. Many sellers will simply say "excellent" "mint" or "great", having no idea what those terms mean in relation to the Goldmine Grading System. We tell you exactly what you're getting, and even if it's been to hell and back, we still treat it like it's a piece of your mother. Sometimes it's the detail that screws things up, I think. If we were vague, like most sellers, you'd just see the name of the band, the title, and a picture, and you'd buy it. Oh well.
Many sellers seem to have a disregard for the items they're selling and only care about making their pictures look pretty. We only care about the pieces we sell. And you. So you'll see that the records are displayed IN THEIR ORIGINAL SLEEVES, with just a hint of the vinyl showing so that you can see what color they are. If you want to see the vinyl pulled from its sleeve and resting on a dusty surface, look at someone else's auction or blog and then come back to our page and buy our copy in PERFECT SHAPE.
