Outstanding eastern-influenced mellow psychedelia delivered straight from the cold fjords of Norway! This is the second press on FONTANA, which was released one year after the original on PHILIPS. Slightly more common, but hardly offered for sale. This is a very nice copy which will stand proud in any serious record collection...

COVER; the smooth sleeve has a few light creases, a faint beginning of ringwear and a minor bending to a corner. Hardly any wear to the spine and edges. Nice and it gets a VERY GOOD PLUS-grade.

VINYL; the vinyl has some very light hairlines and a few wispy marks visible from some angles under strong light. One breath away from a visual NEAR MINT-grading. It plays really nice with some occasional light crackle in some of the quiet parts and in between some of the tracks. As you all may know; there are quite a few mellow passages here and regarding the pressing and age – I truly doubt that there are any dead silent copies around. It gets a VERY GOOD PLUS-grade.

LABELS; both labels are very nice with just a few light spindlemarks visible from some angles.

I use GOLDMINE GRADING STANDARDS – MINT/NEAR MINT/VERY GOOD PLUS/VERY GOOD/GOOD/POOR. The grading MINT (M) is hardly ever used - and at that umcommon occasion - NOT used improperly. NEAR MINT (NM) means NEAR MINT both visually and audible! VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+) is the same as EXCELLENT (EX) in other grading systems. My ambition is to provide an as accurate description as possible and I do not try hide any defects or other flaws on the record and cover. GOLDMINE GRADING STANDARDS

MINT ---- It should appear to be perfect. No scuffs or scratches, blotches or stains, labels or writing, tears or splits. Mint means perfect.

NEAR MINT ---- Otherwise mint but has one or two tiny inconsequential flaws that do not affect play. Covers should be close to perfect with minor signs of wear or age just becoming evident: slight ring-wear, minor denting to a corner, or writing on the cover should all be noted properly.

VERY GOOD PLUS ---- The record has been handled and played infrequently or very carefully. Not too far from perfect. On a disc, there may be light paper scuffs from sliding in and out of a sleeve or the vinyl or some of the original lustre may be lost. A slight scratch that did not affect play would be acceptably VG+ for most collectors.

VERY GOOD ---- Record displays visible signs of handling and playing, such as loss of vinyl lustre, light surface scratches, groove wear and spindle trails. Some audible surface noise, but should not overwhelm the musical experience. Usually a cover is VG when one or two of these problems are evident: ring wear, seam splits, bent corners, loss of gloss, stains, etc.

GOOD ---- Well played with little lustre and significant surface noise. Despite defects, record should still play all the way through without skipping. Several cover flaws will be apparent, but should not obliterate the artwork.

POOR ---- Any record or cover that does not qualify for the above "Good" grading should be seen as Poor. Several cover flaws
