Description
This listing is for the 1962 Philles Records release of the Steve Douglas tracks: Lt. Colonel Bogey's Parade b/w Yes Sir That's My Baby, Philles Records number 104. The release of this record and another is one of the battles Phil Spector had with his business partner Lester Sill. Evidently, Spector only wanted his productions with his Wall Of Sound on the label and not Lester Sill's productions. Eventually Spector bought Sill out for a specified amount and royalties on the next record he released by The Crystals. Unfortunately for Lester Sill, Phil pulled a fast one and had The Crystals record a song called "The Screw". This Steve Douglas 45 is in Mint- Condition. It should be noted that on the "A" side label on the left top side there is a rubber stamp notation stating: "Thanks From G Jay" as this was most likely used as a promotion. Shipping in the U.S. is $4.20. If you would like INS. on this, please let me know and I will check the rates at the P.O. which go according to your Zip Code.
