ORIGINAL first pressing 1966 vinyl, the groovy sounds of the Turtles, unleashing their 2nd album and scoring a timeless smash sound in the ringing "YOU BABY" (nobody but you) ...
Yeah, record executives weren't no fools (ahem..) [but] they could spot the obvious, and the obvious were the Turtles...their sound, an obvious winner, and the teen scene sixties generation were goning to love them. So, away went the grubby look and their leather 'beatle' boots and in came the record company polish; mod suits and cleaned up appearance. The group then did their 'thing' and capturing the essance of their previous album, the Turles worked up a similar, superior sound full of crafted, smart pop jangles with lucious California sunny-side harmonies ...They re-recorded into a minor hit "Let Me Be" from their first album, but it's the restof the tracks that are so impressive...filled with guitar (reverb) structures and a cool folkrocker overt sixties sounds the Turtles score highs with virtually all tracks, both sides -- surprisingly strong, and cap the album off with a killer garage punk nugget "Almost There" with sharp guitar and wailing harp, up there with the garage punkers of the mid sixties!

CONDITION: The cover is solid, no seam problems, no bends, no writing, just small shelf wear, not bad at all, VG++ ... The back group cover is clean M- ... altogether, still worth sticking in a collection,
The vinyl is all glossy clean VG++ to "EX" (excellent) couple/few nothing minor finger nail type handling scuffs; play graded excellent/M- top level highly enjoyable....
