PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question. OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Original 1966 (Private) first pressing from Kentucky ... Not only RARE, but also GREAT: wild teen-scene rave-up primitive garage-rocker glories -- much better than almost ALL of the sought after "Justice" label bands ...
Exceedingly scarce album from Lexington, Kentucky by the Torques on the local micro-pressed Lemco-604 Label from 1966. This rare garage collectible is highly praised by sixties garage and teen scene afficiendos gathering in high $ figures in collector circles. Raw and primitve with suitable wnergy and drive throughout, similar in style to rare Lp's releases on the Justice label - blowing most of that roster away! Recorded on New Years Eve 1966, both sides have a decent amount of fuzzed out garage cookers. Among the highlights, "Stepping Stone" & the growling "Hungry" stand out as crude classics of the genre::::

CONDITION: The cover: solid all over (rare for a '66 garage cover) ... near "EX" (excellent) with only a little light previous handling is all, there are no alarming problems - nothing even close to ... (no seam splits, etc) in highly collectible shape and very rare.....
The vinyl: both sides are still highly glossy, there are real minor light scuffs on both sides which do not interfere with playback, visually rated a strong VG(+), play grade is EXCELLENT; the deep groove pressing played with very ebjoyable audio, not much in the way of surface at all ...you'll be surprised at the durable playback sound quality ... both labels are clean
