Description
This album, "Turnaround" on Blue Note records is an original 1st issue 1963 pressing which featured Hank Mobley, Herbie Hancock, Freddie Hubbard, Paul Chambers, Billy Higgins and Barry Harris. It was recorded at Van Gelder Studios in Englewood New Jersey in 1963. The album is in excellent condition and plays without a hitch although it can certainly use a good cleaning. There are no skips or scratches on the vinyl. The jacket has a 3" rip along the top seam and is inscribed with marker "DIXON" along the same same seam on the back of the record jacket. The recording number is 84186 Blue note and the matrix number on the LP is stamped BNST84186 at the run off at the end of the recording (both sides a&b). The inner sleeve is original to the record as well. This is a very find example of this recording and will make an excellent addition to any jazz collection and we guarantee your satisfaction or we will return the purchase price (minus the shipping and handling charges.
