This auction is for one of the Beatles Monthly Books from August 1963.
This book is number 1 and is an original, NOT one of the 1976 re-issue copies.
near
MINT CONDITION
small crease top right front cover corner apart from that-
as close to "Mint" as you could get , for a 2nd hand item of 47 years old!

In this edition,
published around the time
they performed their 294th and LAST date at the CAVERN
please note this is thee first issue of the monthly book and as such was printed in limited numbers compared with latter issue as no one knew if it would "catch on" as catch on the fab four and all things connected with them surley did!
There is a Group photo on the back and again what proved to be extremely unusul (it was nearly always an individual band member on back and centerfold therafter, please see my many other listings) a performing Group photo as centerfold!
Other photos show the band at rehearsals and generally goofing around. This edition also has stories, interviews, fan mail and much more.

PLEASE DONT BE BELIEVING A BEATLES ITEM TO BE "RARE" JUST BECAUSE A LISTING USES THIS WORD. THE ITEMS THAT TRULY ARE HARD TO FIND DO NOT NEED TO HOODWINK PEOPLE BECAUSE GENUINE BEATLES TRADERS KNOW WHAT IS WHAT. IT IS REALLY BEGINING TO ANNOY ME THOUGH HOW MUCH PEOPLE ARE USING THE WORD "RARE" WHEN INDEED THE ITEM IS NO WHERE NEAR "RARE" "EXTREMELY RARE" "IMMPOSSIBLE TO FIND" ETC ETC.
