Description
Up for sale is this vintage 33 rpm vinyl record LP album with the original television soundtrack album from the 1960s classic “Batman” television series. This is the original first pressing stereo version of the album that was released in 1966 on 20th Century-Fox Records (TFS 4180). The album was also released in mono and then re-released in 1989 and 2014. This is one of the original stereo pressings from 1966 and not one of the later reissues. This includes the actual television voices of Batman (played by Adam West) and Robin (played by Burt Ward), as well as the voices of The Penguin, Zelda the Great, Mr. Freeze and The Riddler. The music is conducted by Nelson Riddle. The record opens with that classic Batman TV theme composed by Neal Hefti. Please see the pictures for all of the included songs. The record has been tested and does have light scratches which do produce some popping and background noise on several of the selections but no skipping. Still lots of fun to listen to and a great Batman collectible! Go back in time with this soundtrack from one of the classic TV series of the 1960s. The outer sleeve is in good condition but the bottom edge is split. The front picture and reverse side are both nice with no markings and the front color is still vivid.
