Description
I was lucky enough to buy, last year, this rare, rare, rare piece of Blink-182 memorabilia. I got it from ebay, the seller was a guy from Henderson (Nevada), he was a real Blink hardcore fan, and I had to pay almost €600 to get this item. Any of you collectors will certainly know its value and preciousness, as only few (about 800) of these tapes exist.
You have the opportunity to have the original Buddha Demo in your hands, maybe this is the last time you’ll see this amazing item on e-bay, I just can say I’m so sad I have to let it go, but I really need money and I have to sell some rare items I have in my collection, which I started 2 years ago.
This demo tape was recorded at the end of 1993, just a few months after Flyswatter, and was given to parents and friends and sold at local gigs for a few bucks. The tape was released by Filter Records, owned by Patric Secor. He was the guy who paied for all of the costs of the tape and helped Blink get signed to Cargo. This is the rarest official pre-182 item.
The tape is impossible to fake, it has BLINK, the FILTER RECORDS and track-listing printed on it in white.
The insert is in perfect condition, it is printed on a heavy, smooth paper, and has the famous Buddha picture on it.
*My tape has the original light purple lyric sheet included, true fans know this is almost impossible to find.

All of the songs are different versions than the albums ones.
In many old pics (from Tales from Beneath Your Mom, for example) you can see Mark, Tom and Scott actually made the cassettes up, so you have the opportunity to get something they touched with their hands!
I can state this item is in excellent condition, considering it is almost 13 years old. No tears on lyric sheet and insert, no cracks on the case, the tape plays and works perfectly. I’ve only listened to it once to check the sound, and the guy who sold me it kept the tape very carefully since he got it in 1993.
