Description
I will be selling much of my own personal vinyl collection over the coming weeks.This is my Shine on Brightly Procol Harum album from 1968.I have MOST of Procol Harum's albums and they will come available as soon as I have copied them onto disk.I'm sure this must be a first pressing as I purchased it myself on its release in 1968. I will deal briefly with ALL aspects of the album but if you have any questions I will try to answer them. I have sold many items on EBay including vinyl discs.
1 The sleeve is in very good/ excellent condition and the front is laminated..The outer spine is also very good/excellent.
2 The record has a very good shine to it and is almost mint.It plays perfectly looks the business.The matrix numbers are XCARX 49-3 and XCARX 50-3. The labels are excellent except(see photo) as with MOST of my albums I sellotaped my name on and added two white adhesive spots to denote A side in bad light.( Sacrilege I know but it seemed like a good idea at the time 40 years ago!) However I believe they should be easy to remove in most cases as some have already fallen off in the passing of time. I will leave it up to the winner to decide what to do with them.
3 The inner record sleeve is original with reference to plastic bags being dangerous etc. and has a polythene insert.
That's it.I've been as honest as I can and I believe this is a First Class item that will hopefully give the buyer many hours of pleasure as it has me. However ,if for any reason you are not pleased with your purchase, I do have a returns policy.I don't want to get into the whole grading process as it would seem to be inconsistently applied.
