Description

This is the original 1st press of The Monks legendary garage rock album Black Monk Time. There was only one, non promo pressing in 1966 and this was it, the next pressing was in 1979 as a reissue. Pressed in Germany in 1966, on International Polydor Production, number 249 900. This record is impossible to find and damn is it a classic. Right now the only copies available are on Discogs for about $1,000. The sleeve is in VG condition, however it has a lot of wear on the opening as shown in the photos. The record itself is in beautiful NM condition however it does have some long surface scratches on the A side as shown in the photos; but I have played the record and it does not effect play at all, the record plays fantastic.
