“Tropic” is one of the most atmospheric and unusual albums released in Czechoslovakia in the early 80s.
ORM together with female vocal duo Kamelie created a cinematic, dreamy and exotic sound that feels closer to a movie soundtrack than to a regular pop record.


This album was widely used for television, documentary and fantasy films — and that is exactly why it has such a special, “visual” atmosphere.
Collectors love it for its unique Eastern-European synth pop style, and listeners love it for the calm, hypnotic mood it creates at home.
