Description

Offered up for auction here (with a low starting price and no reserve) is one of the holy-grails for collectors of original Doo-Wop on 45rpm vinyl! This is a record that I have found in incredibly immaculate condition, it grades as a genuine Near Mint and it plays that way too, absolutely perfect. When I first found this one its original paper cover had a bit of feathering around the edges and minor, inevitable, ring-wear which didn’t give me much hope for the vinyl so I was pleasantly surprised to pull it out of the sleeve and see a near perfect, glossy and clean original pressing with absolutely no trace of spindle wear. I did consider replacing the record company paper sleeve but it’s not that bad, it remains intact and the original owner wrote the song title at the top which I quite like because it shows that this is indeed the first cover this 1957 45 was sold in (and has remained in barely touched ever since). Without a doubt one of the best (if not the best) finds I’ve had this year while out record hunting, definitely not to be missed!
