OTTO KLEMPERER The Philharmonic Orchestra conducts: (side one) Mendelssohn Italian symphony No. 4 in A major, Op 90 (side two) Schumann symphony No. 4 in D minor, Op 120.
Original UK album, released on the COLUMBIA (blue/silver/black) STEREOPHONIC record label, catalogue number SAX 2398 (STEREO).
The record sleeve is the original thick 1960’s design with laminated front, flip over back edges and black/white matt printed back sleeve. The record sleeve is in EXCELLENT condition there are no rips, no tears no seem splits and no sleeve creases.
The record comes complete with the original poly lined EMITEX inner sleeve. The inner record sleeve is in EXCELLENT condition, clean and complete with no rips no tears no seem splits and no sleeve creases.
Record labels are in NEAR MINT condition, clean with no damage no wear to the KT stamps, and with no visible spindle hole marks.
Record playing surfaces are MINT in appearance, superb like new full original brilliant bright surface sheen, with no visible surface marks.
Both sides play grade EXCELLENT+ the sound displays no loud background crackles, no loud background clicks and no jumps. The sound does display some occasional ultra light background surface noise (crackles/clicks (possible static?)) in places but this is not consistent and only appears infrequently.
