Description
This is a rare copy of The Track Record released by Sheffield Lab in 1982.,
Those not familiar with this label should note that their releases are recorded directly from the studio direct to the master disc. Since this shortens the chain from the performer to the disc detail that you hear from the disc is stunningly clear and precise. Once the process starts the artist perfomance is live so miner errors may be heard by the performing artists..
Thisr recording was done live
The disc, like the Drum Record, was used to test the audio limits of hi-fi systems and was frequently used in audiophile shops to demonstrate equipment. A dream disc for those who love rock music and an even a bigger thrill for hi-fi enthusiasts. but some did blow speaker tweeters
The disc has been played about three times to test upgrades to my system, The disc does appear unplayed with no scratches or other surface marks. The record was cleaned before and after use using a decca brush. I have classified the disc as like new M minus because it has been carefully played and always stored in a dust free outer wrap. The cover is excellnet but has minor crink mards. Please check the photos and description to determine that you are satisfied with the summary.
The recording will be sent to the successful domestic bidder using the Royal Mail Special Delivery Service. If this album goes to an international bidder it will be sent using the Royal Mail International track and sign. Please note that an overseas buyer may incur additional costs such as custom taxes usually collected by the postal service prior or upon receiving the item.
I do not post to P.O. Box Numbers and please check the exclusion lists.
