You may want to check back on my auctions now and then.  I have come into several hundred 45's, all mid-60s, all VG++ or Near Mint, most are soul ( Maybe some Northern Soul in there), clean, obscure labels, promos, again all mostly soul. Then several hundred Lps, mostly jazz from early to mid-60's, mostly promos.    Please keep watching. I will add to the auction when I can.

Eric Dolphy on Prestige/New Jazz 8252.  Very rare. Books around $120 without being promo!!   Back cover stamped in big red letters "preview copy".  Label not marked promo.   Record is visually graded VG+ (has two long scratches. Some other little tiny ones also when looking with the sun on them!) and label is clean.      Cover is VG+++++, seams are fine but have a few tiny dings.  Trace of ring wear on back.  Songs:  Out there///serene///the baron///eclipse///17 West///sketch of Melba///Feathers///

Because of the rarity of this promo and with the two long scratches, I played this all the way thru due to several requests.  The two scratches are not hairlines that I am used to seeing, but a tad wider like a pencil line, and more of a sleeve or cover scrap. You cannot feel anything, so there is no serious depth to them.  One is more of a mark than a scratch. They are a few inches apart and one runs from the label to the outer rim of the record, the other runs about half way. They are not straight but have a lot of  crookedness to them.  I did hear a click or two during the whole play, and in some of the quiter moments including the space between songs, a touch of "static" noise.  I had my ear to the speaker to hear this. If I was just in the room not paying attention, I wouldn't hear any background noise.  Very minimal at most.  I hope this helps and is not too confusing.  For info purposes, my grading is NM, VG++, VG+, VG, VG-, G+, G, G-.  So the visual VG+ I graded this is fairly accurate. That is about a 7 to 8 out of 10.
