THE OUTCASTS-45-“Route 66” b/w “Everyday”-Askel Records #AK-107-KILLERKOOL 1966 Garage-PUNK out of San Angelo, TEXAS. The same group that did the MONSTER “I’m In Pittsburgh (And It’s Raining)”-Absolutely KILLER version of “Route 66” with INSANE drumming, primitve and great guitar riffs and lead guitar break, gutteral lead vocal, modeled after the Stones’ version (obviously). B side is a cool Teen-Ballad; organ/guitar dominated with some reverbed-out lead vocal at times...this version of “Everyday” is different from the one on the Askel 104 release. Great Band. Great record. HOLY GRAIL LABEL. Askel-one of the coolest & rarest Texas labels. Super-rare & Super-cool 45. Condition: Record is MINT-Minus. Has a very very slight small warp, really not a warp, hardly noticeable...BEAUTIFUL, NEAR PERFECT copy.
