this single has SEDGWICK-A/SEDGWICK-B machine stamped in capitols in the run out groove
VINYL IS VG+...plays through both sides no skips or jumps
the only information i can find on this is on popsike by other sellers,3 copies were sold in 2006 within 3 months of each other for £576.00-£510.00 & £147.00,i cannot find a copy sold since then ?.
there is no buy it now the auction will run the full 7 days to be fair to everybody if it doesnt sell i,ll keep it,but i am hoping that by listing this copy maybe other copies will surface.
only 100 copies of this single were pressed of which most were apparently destroyed in a fire leaving only a handful of copies,this single originaly came with a solid center (going by the other 3 copies) my copy has been dinked to go on a juke box which is what they were made for in the first place.they were given to local pubs in the birmingham area for there juke boxes.chris sedgwick asked ozzy to do the backing vocals on "dont let me be misunderstood" which he duely did and you can here that it is definatly ozzy osborne,i cant here him on the b side so dont know wether he sang on "have you ever been loved".the free music label was a private label in birmingham i dont know anything about the label at all or if there were any other releases,this is only rare because it has ozzy osborne singing, the b side is just a fairly basic pop tune i have listened to it twice and wouldnt be to concerned if i didnt listen to it again for a while,"dont let me be misunderstood" is a better track for having ozzy on it and worth a listen but only because the ozzy vocals can be heard.but to be honest i cant sing a note so i have every admiration for anybody that can sing or play a musical instrument so this is just my opinion i certainly dont have a trained musical ear.

i have only just found this single in a job lot i recently bought,the label looked interesting so i did some research and found the details on popsike.i have no idea whats true and whats not so please dont take me at my word research it for yourself,i have been a dealer for over 25 years and its the first one i haver seen and to be honest i had never even heard of it until i found this copy,but lets face it this is the best part of what i do there is always something interesting around the corner.
if you took ozzy out of this single it would have nominal value as with a lot of private label items these days,but i suppose this single will continue to command decent prices as so few have come up for sale (3 in 7 years),i suppose it would appeal to ozzy fans and maybe black sabbath/ozzy completists.
