Description
Very rare limited edition 3 disc vinyl edition of the classic Oasis retrospective pressed in 2006 on Big Brother.
This is an opportunity to get a bargain. I have not put it on a buy it now (many of these go for £80+) because one of the sleeves has some creasing and a split on top from brand new. Otherwise the set is in stunning condition and is in the same condition it was in from 2006. I just want it to go to a good Oasis-loving home.
The outer box: Excellent condition. Very slight creasing on the back of the box, which is from manufacturing not from being knocked about.The card/paper used to manufacture the box is the kind, which scuffs easily but can only be seen when held up to the light. These scuffs were on there from brand new and are barely noticeable.
LP sleeves: Sleeves one and three are in excellent condition. Sleeve two had a split in the top and some creasing to the corner (see photos 5,6,7). The generic black inner sleeve also had a split in it but this could be replaced quite easily. The other generic black sleeves have minor creasing. They were all like this from brand new and are not the result of abuse; the blemishes to the second sleeve are really the only fundamental thing wrong with the set. The whole set has been kept safe on a shelf for years and is in the same condition it arrived in 2006.
Discs: Excellent condition. Discs were played once back in 2006 and are in fantastic condition. All three were transferred from the rough paper sleeves into plastic ones back in 2006. Because they came in rough card sleeves there are slight scuffing and other minor manufacturing marks which any copy of this album would have even sealed ones. The discs played beautifully. They have been in storage now for 10 years and could probably do with a clean in case any dust has settled but I will brush the discs before packing.
Booket: As new
Includes torn shrink wrap but the sticker is still on it and includes original HMV order sticker.
A really great set, and ideal opportunity to get hold of this very rare pre vinyl renaissance pressing for a potential bargain. It is in the same condition it arrived in 2006 and the image of the box is just great. Perfect for an Oasis/Brit Pop record collector starting a collection or someone who wants a great playing copy.
