Description
This is an obscure recording of "HEY, PUT THE CLOCK BACK ON THE WALL"
backed with "THEY ALL GOT CARRIED AWAY" by THE PARROTS, a band led
by songwriters Garry Bonner and Alan Gordon. They recorded under other various
names, including The Magicians, Elmo & Almo, and The Barracuda. Both of them
also released some solo recordings. They were best known for their prolific song-
writing of hits for The Turtles, Three Dog Night, The Righteous Brothers, Bobby
Darin, and many more.
Bonner and Gordon wrote both of these songs which were produced by Dan Rubin
and Charles Koppelman. It was pressed on the MALA RECORDS yellow PROMO
label MALA 558, 1967. Both labels are NM. The vinyl looks VG+ with some very
light surface scuffs, but plays and sounds NM.
