About this record:
Beautifully presented, rare Jamaican 12" pre release issue on The Thing label (matrix KB003), these are two heavyweight cuts to Niney the Observer's infamous "NATTY DREAD CHRISTMAS" production by The Iron Phoenix (also "We Want It" by the Heptones, both issued on the same label as 7"s).
What is special about this disco is that is has the full length, vocal-free and heaviest dub cut of the riddim starting freshly on the bside (unlike the other discomix issue of this track on the Observer label). A true selector's piece!
A side= two vocals by IRoy, "Jamaican Girl" (Natty Dread Xmas riddim) and "Irie Girl" (different riddim).
B side="Roll River Jordan" (dub to Natty Dread Xmas ) and dub to "Irie Girl".
