Ofo, The Black Company- Peoples' law AFRODISIA DWAPS 2097 (NIGERIA)
visual grade: Vg (nothing bad or deep)
play grade: check the long audio clips of the actual record on auction A1 3/4 parts plays with noise, but near the end gets better G-- A2 G++ B1 plays with noise G-- B2 G++ B3 G++ labels: clean ! cover: G (check large pictures accurately for all the details), strong ring wear BUT NOT tape or writings

comments: Ofo is the history of Nigerian psych music, their 1st album still on Afrodisia is the stuff of legends, this being their 2nd one on the same label (plus another 3rd one on BlackSpot a sub-sidiary of Decca/Afrodisia) from 1980. "Ofo is a mystic medium. a symbol of truth and justice. it's incantation. it's to the the Black man what the Bible is to the Christian. it's Brother it's Life". album concept by that eclectic/far out musician by the name of Larry Iifedioranma w/Felix Liberty on cosmic lead guitar. fantastic/futuristic cover artwork by the great Ghariokwu Lemi (Fela's covers) ! 1st time on ebay ! unique/special album that grows on you, check talking, not easy, girl of my dreams
