VINYL:

  • Very Good Plus Plus (VG++): Only a very small number of minor flaws present (ex. a couple of faint hairlines, a light scuff). No unexpected surface noise or other audible issues at normal listening volume. Cover shows no significant ring wear, nor seam splits.
Comment: Play tested for this listing and sounds terrific. Songs are dynamic with slightly noticeable surface crackle between some tracks, a reminder that vinyl is being played. The songs sound glorious though, a reminder as to why we love vinyl. Visually this looks pretty great. If I found this in a used record store, I'd say "heck yeah!"
SLEEVE:
  • Very Good Plus (VG+):  Cover may show minor defects including very light ring wear.
Comment: I'm dropping this rating a notch. It is a fine looking cover, far from a beater and although there are no seam splits and ring wear is minimal, if at all, there is some general wear and slight creasing that keeps this from a higher rating. The back cover is the flipped image version. The idea was to be able to remove the album from the retail rack and simply flip it over from the front vertically to see the back image...yet the text of the credits is still upside down!
