Description
Okeh Electric Record 45328, "Spanish Fandango" and "Cotton Patch Rag" by John Dilleshaw and the String Marvel. See the pictures for condition. I have no way of playing these 78s so I cannot listen to them to determine the sound quality, but they were stored in an album for years.
"On March 22, 1929 (in Atlanta) Dilleshaw made his first documented record, Spanish Fandango/Cotton Patch Rag, issued on Okeh 45328 as by John Dilleshaw & The String Marvel. Fandango features Dilly and a second guitar player; Cotton Patch Rag features him and a mandolin player. Thus The String Marvel must be adept at both mandolin and guitar - and have a reason for concealing his name."
