Antique Arts Crafts B&H Bradley Hubbard Cast Iron Bookends -Composers
This set of very illusive bookends was produced by Bradley & Hubbard in the early 1900's. Each is marked with the B&H, printers flowers, in a circle. One features Franz Liszt, the famous Hungarian composer/pianist, the other is Richard Wagner the greatest composer of German opera. The workmanship on each is superb. Both are in excellant condition. Crafted from cast iron with a bronze finish. Finely molded lifelike features on both portraits, arts & crafts accents. Each measuring 6" x 4-5/8" x 2-3/4". A great gift idea for someone that appreciates early composers. Not just "bookends" these would work nicely with a classical record collection too.
