Oliver Nelson "More Blues and the Abstract Truth" Impulse Records (Mono) A-75, released 1964, condition Very Good+.
I started to list this record as Excellent because it plays fine with a bit of "popping" but no skipping or distortions, but the appearance isn't good enough for Excellent. Maybe it is but I'd rather be wrong on the positive side. If that makes sense. On side one there are 4 obvious scratches, one of which can actually be felt. It is on the beginning of the first track but surprisingly does not affect the play. On side two there are a few scratches. one that can be felt, the others surface, but playing is unaffected save for some "popping", which can probably be filtered out with the right equipment. I can see why this recording lists so high in the price guide I have because this is some really good jazz.
The cover is in Excellent condition with only the stain on the inside needing mentioning. It is visible in the picture posted, at the top middle of the two sides. It doesn't look like a moisture stain but it is easily seen. Otherwise, the cover is in great shape with vivid colors and the edges are fine, the corners showing only minimum wear.
