"Black Foliage: Animation Music volume 1" 1999 USA pressing Flydaddy Records .....the vinyl (on two LP dsics) is near mint condition. The cover has a few very tiny insignificant sings of wear so is graded EX (excellent)........2nd masterpiece in a row, on the original flydaddy label....ULTRA RARE.........from the Olivia Tremor Control, one of the most visible and important bands in the Elephant 6 collective, (allmusic writes) “a coterie of like-minded, lo-fi indie groups — including the Apples in Stereo, Neutral Milk Hotel, and Secret Square — who shared musicians, ideas, and sensibilities”. Absolutely breath taking epic of indie, lo fi experimental pop music absorbing the best Pink Floyd caliope that links together something like unheard Beatles & Beach Boys with equally enthralling  found asounds samplings and  doodling taking in everything to the present day. Floyd /Beatles Beach /Boys /Hip Hop/ Radio Head ...? .....had to hear it to believe it ...... Allmusic says that if their prior album was the group's "White Album" then Black Foliage is their "Smile". For myself, the most amazing album I've heard in over 10 years...way more...listneing to it again right now......won't likely see it again for quite a while.
