Description
This is an INCREDIBLY RARE TEST PRESSING of A Manual Dexterity: Soundtrack Volume One by Omar Rodriguez-Lopez, formerly of At the Drive-In and The Mars Volta. Only EIGHT TEST PRESSINGS of this album were made. I purchased this from Gold Standard Laboratories at a record fair back in 2004, and it has been in my collection ever since. The regular version of the album is out of print, so obviously that makes this one super mega out of print. Again, this is ONE out of EIGHT TEST PRESSINGS.
The album has been played ONCE. The records show no visible scuffs or scratches. The tag you see on the plastic sleeve was there at the time of purchase. The plastic sleeve has creases from storage along with two small cuts plus some light sticker residue from where I removed the original price tag. The records were not in the sleeve at the time I made these cuts. The records and original plastic sleeve have been stored in an additional outer sleeve because, I don't know, it seemed like a good idea. There is no artwork or inserts as it is a TEST PRESSING.
You probably already know this, but this was Omar's first solo album, and was recorded in 2001 after the breakup of At the Drive-In. Omar did most of the work, but John Frusciante, Ikey Owens, Cedric Bixler-Zavala, Jeremy Ward, and Blake Fleming all added bits and pieces along the way.
