Offered for Sale - Collectors one off Acetate and metal Discs.
Three Discs, 2 Vinyl and one coated metal by 60's Artist - Barry Ryan.
This collection contains the classic Album Barry Ryan Sings Paul Ryan
and 5 other tracks I believe the are perviously unreleased masterpieces.
Barry Ryan Sings Paul Ryan is a Classic of the late Sixties and it contaics the million selling 5 minute Pop Masterpiece eloise.
Acetate of "Barry Ryan Sings Paul Ryan" on Two seperate discs, this is a Vinyl disc cut directly from the original master tapes
I know these things are delicate but I played one track and the last track on Side one is indeed Eloise.
The Metal disc a bit dirty but with a tracklisting Barry Ryan, tracks as follows.
1.Real World,
2. We'll have a world.
3. Colour of my Love.
4. I like the Way.
5. I think we're alone Now.
6. Getting Together.
I know these things are delicate so I cleaned it off with some warm water and washing up liquid.
I played what definately was track 5 a fantastic cover of Tommy james and the Shondells "I think we are alone now" recorded with the same
lush orchestral arrangements as the Album "Barry Ryan Sings Paul Ryan"
These are Not Test Pressings they are Acetates Cut on a Mastering Lathe from the original Master Tapes.
I Cant find any mention of these tracks in The Bary Ryans Discographies on the net. with the exception of "Colour of my Love." so I believe the
are masters of unreleased gems from an artist, writer and production team at the top of their game.
The Metalwork is in poor condition and needs professional restoring. Althouth the The Acetates are a little scratched but perfectly playable.
I bought these items form a stall in the Portobello Market in the 80's.
