I have been methodically / psychotically collecting punk / indie / and metal vinyl for over fifteen years and I finally have come to a point where I need to pare down this overwhelming amount of vinyl due to space and money. So, you the ebay patrons of the world are the beneficiaries of my life long pursuit of wonderful, wonderful vinyl. With the demise of the CD and the rise of digital downloads it's nice to see vinyl once again become the premiere music fans format. Operation Ivy - Energy LP
One of the indisputable classics of not only the punk genre, but the music genre. Operation Ivy's "Energy" LP is so influential, so brilliant, so perfect it seems almost absurd. The vinyl is long Out Of Print as virtually all of Lookout's classic vinyl has become. This record comes with the original insert with lyrics. I certainly played the sh*t out of this record over the last twenty years, but wear on sleeve is at minimum and for how many billions of beers i spilled all over myself dancing to this, I somehow managed to keep the vinyl in really great shape, and miraculously beer free. This is Lookout! #10, and though re-released on atrocious, plastic digital formats, I think this is music supposed to be listened to on good ol' vinyl.
