Description

Operation Ivy - Hectic EP 7". Laytonville Pressing. Lookout! Records. 1988. Punk Ska. VG. Condition is Used. Shipped with USPS Media Mail.
Folded paper jacket. Includes booklet.

Early but not first pressing of the ’88 Operation Ivy 7?. Laytonville address on the back, but this version is not numbered like the first pressing. Matrix number in run-out (L-29387) is different than the later pressings (L-47404).

Record is in great shape. I only see 2 small scratches on it and they are both so light that they are nearly invisible. There is also a Very Light smudge that I think I made when I was cleaning the dust off of it, that had accumulated from 25+ years of storage. VG+
The 8 page lyrics booklet is also in great shape but does have a small fold on one corner that goes through every page. (see pictures.) Booklet is also slightly off kilter and the pages don't quite line up correctly (see pictures) because of the way that it was initially folded during packaging. It was like that even when brand new. VG
The gate-fold paper cover has small crease-folds in 2 corners (see pictures) and a slight bend along the top edge on front. It is no more than a centimeter in depth.There is also a slightly worse moderate amount of crinkling near the top edge on the back cover. (see pictures) Mostly because of that, I am only giving it a G+ grade, but it is still in pretty respectable condition. I have included close up pictures of the worst of the damage and apart from what is shown it is in very good shape. G+

Grades that I use are G-, G, G+, G++, G+++, VG, VG+, VG++, VG+++/EX, NM. I won't be describing anything as M or MINT unless it is unopened and the packaging is completely unblemished. Records that have never been played but HAVE been opened, will be described as Near Mint or NM. These are the adjectives that I use when describing damage: Very Light, Light, Moderate, Severe, Catastrophic. To describe damage in between those ranks I say things like: "Moderate leaning towards Severe," "Moderate leaning towards light," or "In between Light and Moderate"...just for example.
