Kustom City U.S.A. LP - THE KUSTOM KINGS (Smash MGS 27051) mono
Original 1964 mono LP of hot rod/surf sounds. 12 tracks, including: "In My 40 Ford," "Stick Six," "Jive Driver," "Super Fine 39," "Firecracker 400," more. Excellent hot rod & surf sounds here - hey, this wasn't just some quickie exploitation LP, it was the cream of the crop of L.A. studio musicians and terrific songs, most penned by Roger Christian, Bruce Johnston (LP credit reads: B. Johnson, but it's gotta be Bruce, right?) &/or Steve Douglas. A mixture of instrumental & vocal numbers and the vocal tracks have an amazing Beach Boys sound to 'em. And then there' the LP front cover, w/ all the incredible George Barris-designed custom hot rods - tooo much...

Disc = VG+ (plays much better - lotsa lite scuffs, but no serious gouges/scratches - some lite background pops but nothing serious, the music comes thru loud & clear/Cover = ring wear, front & back; edge wear; corner wear; tear on back cover, bottom left corner/Labels = A-OK
My grading is very strict & guaranteed. I use: NM/EX/VG and +/- variables. I've been collecting/dealing vinyl for almost 40 years. Bid with confidence.
