Here is a vintage MONO "roots of rock" lp from my collection offered up for sale: The Kinks 1966 "Greatest Hits" album, released in 1966 by Reprise R-6217 Mono, this is a 1966 1st pressing with the early style "tri-tone steamboat" labels and the heavy weight rigid vinyl record. The vinyl has some light marks but is still a play worthy original with a beautiful cover, has a $50 - $75 book value!
The vinyl record rates VG/VG+, is clean and glossy, has many faint sleeve marks, has some light marks, nothing heavy, has been PLAY TESTED! Plays from start to finish with very good sound, clear sound with a few light pops, minimal surface noise! No skips, no jumps! The vintage cover rates strong EX, is super clean and bright, no ring wear, edges and corners excellent and solid, no splits, no tape, binder edge EX and readable, no signatures or writing, only a bit of age discoloration on back at opening, looks minimally handled, has been well cared for! (see all pics). Includes vintage paper Reprise printed inner sleeve.
