Description

ARTIST: Led Zeppelin  - TITLE: Led Zeppelin (TRUE 1st PRESSING)

LABEL: Atlantic -  MATRIX: SD 8216

JACKET: (NM-) Bright Bold Colors, ORIGINAL SHRINK!!!

VINYL: (VG++ to EXC Minus) Glossy Vinyl, A few light paper scuffs / trails on each side. Plays nicely with some crackles between and in the tracks on and on low passages.  This seems very typical for this 1969 Pressing, so it's not due to mishandling but more in the manufacturing.  See this auction with same crackles on 1969Atlantic 1st Pressing.

Do not see ANY spindle marks around the label holes.

COMMENTS: SOUND TESTED!!!  on  my Technics SL-1300.  You'll be happy with this one. Nice playing copy. Does have the mentioned ATLANTIC RECORDS Crackles.  Original Inner Sleeve with small bottom split.

RECORD GRADING SYSTEM

Here is the method that I use to describe condition of vinyl so that you will have a good idea of what you will be getting:
  • Mint: I do not use this at all unless sealed.
  • Near Mint: is near perfect & as close to being unplayed as possible
  • Excellent: has only superficial signs of use that do not affect play
  • Very Good: is a used, reasonable copy. There will be obvious signs of wear and the possibility of surface scratches
  • Very Good Minus: shows significant wear and marks and usually quite noticeable surface noise.
  • Anything less than these ratings I normally do not sell unless it is very rare, very collectible and would more than likely not be played.
