This is another rare original vocal group doo wop 45, it is Not a bootleg or reissue. and is on a black and silver WHIRLIN DISC label # W-101, songs are DEAR LORD & FINE FINE FRAME. It is an original ' 56 U.S. 45 by THE CONTINENTALS, etched in trail off is W5002-45 other side W5003-45, this is a different vocal group than on the RAMA label. Members are: DANIEL HICKS / HERMAN MONTGOMERY / BUDDY PAYNE / JOHN PEARSON. Only once in a great whiile do these original vocal group gems make themselves available, when they do, they are not usually in very good condition, this is not the case with this one, labels are a very clean, flat black with sharp silver print. Both would be perfect if not for one white number 2 on one side. NO stains, fading, stickers, wear, etc. Playing surfaces have a deep glossy, mirror like shine with NO scratches, groove wear, defects, warps, stains, etc. Each side has only a small handful of very light surface scuffs that do not affect play.they can only be seen under bright light, I played excerpts they sound crystal clear with NO background noise or distortion, I've had this 45 for a little while, not ever really wanting to part with it, however I have to, so it does give me pleasure to pass it on to a collector looking for the best original hard to find vocal group 45s in the nicest CONDITION: VG +++ .
