This is one of those original '50s doo wop gems, 45s like these are getting harder to find, most are already in the hands of collectors unwilling to part with them. It is an original ' 59 U.S. pressing on orange and black FORTUNE label # 534, Tunes are: BASHFUL GUY & DARLING BE MINE. by THE EARTHQUAKES. Labels have 2 thick lines running from side to side, Also has Fortune Records Detroit Michigan on both. Matrix numbers are 534F 80, & 534F 179. Both labels are a deep orange with NO stains, fading, stickers, writing, etc. I noticed only slight wear at spindle hole of each and in a very tiny area. Playing surfaces have a deep glossy mirror like shine with NO dulling groove wear, also NO scratches, defects, warps, stains, etc.I noticed only a small handful of extremely light surface scuffs that do not affect play.both sides sound crystal clear with no distortion or annoying background noise. If you search for the best, hardest to find doo wop 45s consider this great find, these are 2 of the best songs I've heard in awhile, one is mid tempo, the other a slower ballad with the most gorgeous dreamy vocals.
