Description

This is a rare original very thick, heavy, rigid vinyl u.s. lp, from 1959. By THE CLOVERS called: LOVE POTION NUMBER 9. It is a deep groove pressing with black UNITED ARTISTS Label #UAL-3099. There are 12 tunes some are: EASY LOVIN/TOO YOUNG/STAY AWHILE/I'M CONFESSIN THAT I LOVE YOU/YOU SAID/THE SHEIK/Etc. Lps like this are becoming very hard to find, I acquired this one from the original owner, he was 63, and obviously played this lp very little. Labels are near perfect with just one side having one faint spindle trail. The other side I show a picture of, it has a tiny faint stain that can probably be cleaned off, and is hard to see in my picture. Vinyl also in the nicest condition, very glossy with NO scratches, scuffs, or dulling groove wear. Only under very close inspection and bright light can you see just a few tiny marks that do not affect play. I played excerpts, they sounded clear, with NO annoying background noise at all. Also has in each trail off the numbers stamped, as well as a logo that looks something like an ear, this lp is one of the heaviest I've ever handled. The cover does have some wear, mostly on the front. Bottom right corner has seam split 2", spine and top seam not split. And there are NO bent corners or cut outs. Comes with original United Artists inner sleeve with NO splits. Lps like this one hardly ever come along in such nice CONDITION: COVER VG++/LP NM--.
