Once in a great while I am able to make available some of the best hardest to find lps. This is the original '60 very sought after U.S. Lp on the blue ALEGRE label #LPA-802, called: SABU MARTINEZ AND HIS JAZZ-ESPAGNOLE. There are 12 tracks, 4 are very short, one at the beginning of each side and one at the end of each side. They are called: INTRO, FLIPPING, OTRA VEZ, CODA. Each one has (GEM) listed on the right side. on labels and back cover. A few other tunes are: BREAKING IT IN / THE ORACLE / NICA'S DREAM / WOODY'N YOU / etc. see close up of labels. stamped in the trail off of both side is: "AudioMatrix" . Cover is made of thick cardboard. The front is a glossy black white and red with wonderful graphics and DSM type artwork by ISRAEL SANABRIA , it has worn seams and spine, light wear on front, punch hole bottom left corner and a small 2" seam split top right corner, I caused the split by placing the original browning inner sleeve with NO splits, back into the cover, also on the front top left corner a sticker was removed leaving light residue. There are No other seam or spine splits, cut corners, stains, bent corners, writing, etc. print and photos on back are perfect. The lp has very clean pristine labels. Both labels look nicer in person, they have NO spindle marks, wear, stains, stickers, writing, etc. Playing surfaces have a deep mirror like glossy shine, NO groove wear, scratches, defects, warps, stains, etc. At first glance the lp looks mint, and pristine, however, under very close inspection and bright light I noticed a few very light scuffs that do not affect play, I played excerpts from both sides, they sounded clean, clear, and dynamic with NO distortion or annoying background noise, listening closely I heard only 2 light background ticks, If you search for the best jazz lps in the best CONDITION: COVER VG+ / LP NM - - - consider this great rarity. It is one of the best original latin jazz lps on the planet. The last time I got goosebumps from listening to percussionists was at the Fillmore East from the third row at a Santana show in the late '60s.Your satisfaction is guaranteed, bid with confidence. Buyer pays actual shipping cost, Plus $1 for lp mailer box.
