Description
I recently acquired a small collection of records from the collection of a former Radio Station Employee, this one is a one of a kind find, it has a thick cardboard textured cover with yellow print and graphics. on both sides, in the cover were two 12" single sided 33 1/3 lps. Both have ESPM-1010, in trail off. both also have BELL SOUND stamped. This live lp is called: ALBERT AYLER'S BELLS. It is on the ESP DISK Label #1010, made in U.S. both lps are pressed on heavy thick vinyl, one is clear, the other blue marble with BELLS silk screening on one side. I believe the clear one is a test pressing, however both could be stock copies. This live session is with ALBERT AYLER , DONALD AYLER , CHARLES TYLER, LEWIS WORRELL., & SUNNY MURRAY. The performance is an original TOWN HALL RECORDING. recorded LIVE AT TOWN HALL on MAY 1, 1963. Cover has tape residue on spine & top left corner on front are 2 small stickers as well. There are NO seam or spine splits, bent corners, stains, or fading, just has wear here and there. Both lps are in wonderful condition, playing surfaces have a deep glossy shine, with NO scratches, groove wear, defects, warps, etc. I noticed only a few light surface scuffs here and there that do not affect play. I played excerpts from each lp, both sound clean and clear with NO distortion, skips, or annoying background noise. I heard only a few soft background ticks. Occasionally I get the opportunity to make available rarities such as this in this great CONDITION: COVER VG++ / CLEAR LP NM - - / BLUE MARBLE LP NM. I thought for a long while about the price I should ask for this rarity and decided to post it with a low minimum bid and NO reserve, this way everyone has the chance to own this one of a kind find.
