Description

This is an original '65 U.S. pressing first lp by The Village FUGS, it is on the small independent BROADSIDE label #BR-304 called: BALLADS OF CONTEMPORARY PROTESTS, POINT OF VIEWS AND GENERAL DISSATISFACTION, and pressed on very thick, heavy, rigid vinyl with tan labels and black print. Cover is thick cardboard with great black and white photo on front. comes with 4 page lyric insert . The lp has clean labels with only some minor spindle trails, no bad spindle marks, stains, or spindle hole wear. Playing surfaces have a nice deep glossy shine,  no dulling groove wear, bad scratches,     warps, or defects, I played 2 excerpts from each track they sounded clean and clear with no distortion, skips, or loud annoying background noise. vocals and instruments were clear and detailed, under close inspection I noticed only one very small scratch you can feel on side A . it is at the end of the first track, it caused only a few background ticks. there are also some scuffs on both sides that do not affect play, other than some light background ticking here and there. The cover has very good strong seams and spine with no splits. spine has some wear, the back and front have only very light wear, on front top right corner, and in faint marker is a name (see photo). there are no bent or pushed in corners, stickers or stains, insert only has 2 faint small marks on front and back.no bad stains, tears, folds, writing, etc. Glad I could make available this obscure original lp by this group of guys that were way ahead of there time. CONDITION: Cover VG ++ / Lp VG + + / Insert VG + + .
