Bring It On Home To Me b/w Darling, I Love You - THE DAVE CLARK FIVE (Epic 5-10547) (w/ picture sleeve)
Original 1969 U.S. 45 with picture sleeve. Nearing the end of their shelf life here, Clark & company went pop-psych for this release; both sides are in the Procol Harum vein, especially the flip, which I dig a bunch; slow tempo, mournful vocals, heavy on the organ, with a backing chorale and strings. Actually, it kinda reminds me of the Sonny Charles/Phil Spector classic, "Black Pearl" - and that's a big compliment. you know. A non-hit, naturally, & pretty hard-to-find - especially in this fab condition.

Disc = NEAR MINT- to NEAR MINT/PS = slight ring wear; light browning spots across the top & a few hard-to-see ones in the center on one side only/Labels = pretty much flawless
