Original, authentic second state unpeeled mono butcher cover.  This is the West Coast issue, from  factory  number 6 on back cover as pictured . The cover is in extremely sharp condition, with the white of the cover very clean and non yellowing. The colors are strong and shows no sign of fading The seams and all edges of the cover are well photographed and fairly sharp with no tape, glue or repairs of any kind.  There is no tape or writing anywhere on this LP or LP jacket.  The shadow of Ringo's turtleneck can be seen if you look closely to the right of the top edge of the trunk (like a black triangle). Also the shadow of Ringo's bottom of his smock and black pants leg. The picture shows these sections to the right of the trunk.  By adjusting the contrast in the image we were were able to see right through the trunk slick and bring out a remarkable image of Ringo from the butcher slick underneath. See the pictures. That's the same exact image. We just enhanced the contrast in that section to bring it out.

By the way, I have uploaded the original, bigger, high-resolution pictures to my own server. To see them click here.

The pasteover is slightly off center so a sliver of the butcher edge can be seen along the lower left edge, making the decision as to whether or not this is a legit butcher a no-brainer. Near the  top left corner we can see that some fool tore off a bit of the trunk slick, making this a potential candidate to peel. Or not. I fear a tiny bit of the butcher slick has been removed from this corner. There are ways of touching that up. The inner sleeve is original and has no split seams. One tiny tear at the middle of edge with the opening for the record to slip into. The vinyl is in vg condition, which means it plays without skips has been enjoyed thoroughly and played many times, light surface scratches/scuffs may show.,  All in all it's a very presentable mono  2nd state Butcher cover with original inner sleeve and playable record worthy of filling out any Beatle lovers collection. To sweeten the deal I am enclosing a color copy of the recal letter sent out by Capital records. I don't have a picture of the letter for you here but it will be included.
