This is a very rare UK poster from the psychedelic era. It advertises the famous underground club UFO and two dates featuring the bands CRAZY WORLD OF ARTHUR BROWN and SOFT MACHINE on the 16th of June and the Liverpool Love Festival on June 23rd. It has a Notting Hill address on the bottom of the poster - OSIRIS VISIONS LTD. , 90 WESTBOURNE TERRACE, W.2. The poster measures 50cm by 75cm. The colours are yellow, purple and gold. It has been folded twice and has been taken down from a few walls in it's time as it has damaged corners and pinmarks and a couple of small edge tears. The overall appearance is very good though as you can see by the photo. Collectors of psychedelic posters will know how much rarer the British posters are than their American counterparts. The art nouveau design compliments the trippy acid influences and will one day be hanging in the Victoria & Albert museum. It would suit a glass frame and is a great opportunity to own a piece of genuine psychedelic history. You wouldn't get much change from a thousand quid for a mint copy and this would suit a fan who's looking for a reasonable bargain.
