Description
Street Suite LP - TOUCH (Mainline LPS-2001)
Original 1970 stereo LP. 8 tracks, including: "Beginnings," "Get A Gun," "Let's Keep The Children On The Streets," "Motor City's Burning," "Gettin' Off," more. Here's one that doesn't turn up too often (tho I'd sure like to know what happened to the dozen or so sealed copies that I distributed out to the collectors world about 20 or so years back - are all of them buried deep in private collections, never to see the light of day?): GUARANTEED 100% ORIGINAL copy of this in-demand LEGENDARY private, lo-fi blues-y hard rock/psych album by these St Louis-based counter-culture revolutionaries. Featuring the sultry vocals of PAULETTE and the stinging guitar leads of RAYMOND STONE, this freaky quartet marries West Coast psych with upper midwest blues-based hard rock, and add their socially conscious lyrics, making for one dynamite combination. With the fantastic, AMAZINGLY THICK hard cardboard gatefold cover in very decent condition & the vinyl in not bad shape too, plays okay. Get it while you can.
Disc = Side 1 - looks VG+, plays better (NO deep gouges, skips etc, lite background noise only, w/ a few pops here & there; small lite scratch in "Catfish" cause lite background pops for a few revolutions); Side 2 - EX- to EX / Cover = front - slight general wear, slight v-shaped chip near upper right corner, small diagonal chip in lower right corner, small scuff mark in lower right corner, light chipping in middle of right edge, # written above cop's head (25 cents - someone got an incredible bargain ); back - slight general wear, some edge wear, about 7 small chips (3 along left edge, 3 along middle of the picture edge on bottom, 1 on brick wall near the window on right hand side); inside - just barely a hint of wear; 4 small chips on top edge, 2 on front & 2 on back / Labels = some faint spindle marks around center hole, one that extends up to the outer label edge on side 2
