Description
Here is a stunning condition UK issue of Jethro Tull-A Passion Play on Chrysalis Records this copy has matrix stamps A-4U / B-4U is a very rare copy and certainly so in this condition. The labels are near mint,with only a single spindle trace on each side and fractional at that,both are super clean. The vinyl is a stunning sight,with its super high sheen,I look at all my records with an eye piece and under halogen lights and do not make mistakes,there are no marks or scratches/hairlines--Nothing but a new looking vinyl,there may be a sleeve mark but,I have looked very hard and not found one and really,you only have to play this stunning LP to know immediately that the vinyl is mint,the play grade is certainly mint- with the sound being very strong and clear. The inner sleeve is original and I grade as EX+ as there is hardly any creasing and there are only two small age related marks,small and insignificant really and the gatefold which includes the near mint booklet,I grade as near mint even though there are no marks on it and no wear to the edges,even along the whole entrance point the lines are crisp and new and along the whole spine is 'dent' or crease free,with all lettering clear,crisp and new looking. The reason for the grade is that there are very slight scratch lines,not immediately noticed and not many at all,only seen on very close inspection but they are there and near mint is a very fair grade as the cover is a stunning example making the whole package very collectable lot,please refer to the photos.
