Description

s/t (Northern California Transcendental Folk-Jazz) LP  - KINDRED SOULS (Bio-Centennial BC-001)

Original 1976 stereo LP. 11 tracks, including: "No More Goodbyes," "Sourdough," "A Man In The Country," "Aching Dancer," "Small Fry Heart," more. Nice low key, lo-fi private Eastern influenced folk psych album by this 8-member California hippie commune band (I assume), recorded live. Both sides end w/ a mantra, which is perfectly appropriate for this disc. W/ paste-on cover featuring primitive DIY artwork, this is a charming artifact of a time that now seems so long ago & so far removed. Which is too damn bad...

Disc = Side 1 - looks EX- (lite hairlines), but plays better - tiny scuff at the beginning of track 2 causes a couple revolutions of lite clicks, otherwise sounds fine/Side 2 - EX (lite fingernail-like scuff thru most of the side - NOT AFFECTING PLAY AT ALL)

Cover = front - ring/general wear, rub wear, 2 small lite tears near upper left corner, lite spotting possibly from glue underneath, small lite spotting along right edge / back - slight ring wear, small lite spotting possibly from glue underneath, small piece of scotch tape near upper right corner, small crunch in upper left corner / slight wear on top & bottom edges, small chip on bottom edge, lite curling on spine

Labels = A-1, w/ NO spindle marks to be found
