Here for auction is a super condition,original 1977 2LP long playing soundtrack to Star Wars - Conducted by John Williams and performed by the London Symphony Orchestra,this is a stunning example and bar a sealed copy is a near as upgrade for the serious collector. The labels are clean and free from spindle traces to any of the four and also is free from writing and are very nice examples. The vinyl is incredible and the playback of all four sides is stunning and nothing short of Mint- and visually Mint and with matrix marks A-1 / B-1 / C-2 / D-1 This is a super collectable and may never come along in such unmarked condition. The Gatefold cover I grade as EX+ as there is hardly any wear other than expected light shelf wear has the sticker with 4 colour poster promo and the centerfold images are very nice and perfectly preserved colour pics-I should say here that this 2LP set has come from a huge collection that has been properly stored,some for approximately 30yrs and a lot of this collection,like this one are virtually like time capsule or sealed copies. The inner sleeves,original,are free from hardly any creases and only suffer from top edge age discoloration,just a centimetre line across one edge,indicative of the fact that this LP has hardly been exposed to the atmosphere,since it was made which will explain the vinyl's four pristine sides and the playing of this LP is amazingly clear and silent between tracks....so the grade for the inner sleeves is Near Mint and the grade for the Lyric insert is MINT-Completely,not a crease,stain or mark anywhere and is completely like new,has the sheen of a freshly printed page and is a nice addition to an awesome condition set.
