Description
Original 12" vinyl LP by Bobby Hutcherson entitled "Cirrus" from 1974. It is on the Blue Note label (Catalog #BN-LA257-G). I believe this is an "All Disc" record plant pressing.
Like many vintage records from the era, the original poly-lined Blue Note inner sleeve left some slight marks on the vinyl that do not affect play. I gave it a full play-through, and it plays great, with only a bit of light surface noise between tracks and one twice-repeating pop. Overall it isn't far from mint minus and has excellent sound quality! The jacket has numerous flaws, including a holepunch through the lower left corner, significant edge wear along the bottom edge, and an approximate 1-1/2" seam split on the upper right corner (please see photos for greater detail). On the plus side, the album has only very minor ringwear (it's always been kept in a poly sleeve), and the jacket (which is in VG condition) presents nicely.
